Experience
My professional background is in education and training. For many years I headed a counselling staff team in a large Kent college, and worked as a tutor for the Central School of Counselling and Therapy.
I have extensive experience of seeing clients in a variety of settings including primary care, education and private practice. I have worked with a range of issues including: Abuse, Adoption, Anger Management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Eating disorders, Phobias, Relationships, Sexuality, Stress Management. I am committed to anti-discriminatory practice and welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures and sexualities.
My approach has evolved from my training, my work as a counsellor trainer and my extensive work with individuals and counselling organisations since 1996. It has also been shaped by life experience and my own experience of therapy.
